Of all the fine little details sprinkled throughout the Fantastic Mr. Fox film, one thing that surely caught my attention was the distinguished fashion sense of Mr. Fox. Maybe it appealed to me because I wish I could pull off such a dapper way of life…I mean…as I write this I am currently fumbling to wipe off a glob of salsa I just splattered upon my track pants before my dog licks it off. Clearly not smooth.
GQ Magazine has also taken notice of Mr. Fox and his fantastic garb, as they ranked the fictitious fox #4 on their 2010 Best-Dressed list.
Throughout writer/director Wes Anderson’s fabulous stop motion feature Mr. Fox wears an array of fetching corduroy and tweed suits, which, according to some interviews were based on Anderson’s own wardrobe.
