Drew McWeeny, writer of the “Motion/Captured” blog on HitFix, visited Illumination Entertainment — the company behind the upcoming Despicable Me starring Steve Carell — and has posted new images from the film.

I saw this trailer tagged onto Princess and the Frog. I thought it was going to be boring and wondered if anyone other than old geeky guys (sorry no offense) would want to see this, but then it became funnier and I gave it a nano second to whether I might actually want to see it. LOL.

Oh and the dude reminds me of the food critic, Anton Ego, on Ratatouille.

“Old” I will give you, but far from geeky, my dear! (Okay, okay, I guess it’s kinda hard to defend that as I write about cartoons). Oh well. :-\

But anyway, yeah…I still don’t know what to think of this movie. I love Steve Carell so I am just banking on that. Gru reminds me of Dr. Evil.
